Saw this laying on the table and it caught my eye, wife found it on the ground near her church. She had no idea it was silver, and my birth year.

But it's a dime
Nice find. Since it's your birth year maybe you should make it your pocket piece.

Found a coin--> Lucky
Found a DIME--> Double Lucky
Found a SILVER dime--> Triple Lucky
Found a silver dime of YOUR BIRTH YEAR--> Quadruple Lucky
You've got a wife who picks up silver for you--> That's luckier than anything!

Great find! Maybe make it a pocket piece?

Great find!

I'd just put it in a 2x2 or whatever you do with silver dimes.

I hope this is incorrect parsing of the sentences and means that "YAY my birth year", and "wife didn't know it was silver". nice rescue!

Haha - true. I was implying that it's always worth the time to stop and pick up a penny, or a dime, or a nickel....

Thanks for the kind words.

We had torrential rain one day last week, literally two feet in 12 hours. It could have been buried and washed up but it really doesn't look like it's been underground.

I'll ask her to poke around that area a little better next Sunday.
