I'm looking at buying a few more 3CN, & wanted to get a few opinions on this one. These are the pictures supplied by the seller. I'm looking for opinions on grade, & what a fair price would be for a coin like this. Any & all help would be appreciated.

The coin looks like an AU58 with a possibility of being a 62; depends if it has any luster breaks. How nice is the luster? I don't have any of the price guides in front of me and for the common dates, like this, the guides are still a pretty accurate indicator of what you might expect. Look at the price guide's value for MS60 and that's about right.

If I were considering buying this coin, I would want to know what is going on between the "TAT" in STATES and her eye in the obverse.

I agree with halfabustisbetter, that area looks like the coin holds a few scratches.

I noticed that myself, couldn't tell anything from the picture. I guess I need to ask the seller. Anybody see any other areas to be concerned about?

Ask about the luster and if the scrapes are on the coin, not on the holder. I sort of think they're on the holder.

By the way...as an aside... There are some new 3CN icons you might want to switch yours to. That one that they originally put up actually appears to be a very problematic coin. I've never seen a 3CN rust...but that one looks like it is!

Looks like the result of a couple of die clashes. These coins are known for die clashes and you will often see marks from the wreath between the face and the lettering.

You can also see what looks like two sets of clash marks to the left of the lower half of the first I. I believe those are traces of Liberty's nose.
