Nice one, zxccxz. Very good eye appeal working on my pic posting-   It appears to me that the top of the 8 is flatter and the top of a 9 is more oval.

try photographing it under natural light from the top down (at an angle from the top of the obverse facing to the bottom). I think I'd grade it FR-02.

There is currently only one 1890-CC in a PCGS P01 slab. If you were to get this in front of the right group of bidders at auction, I suspect you'd be pretty surprised at what it brings.

If you'd have told me a week ago that I'd get so much enjoyment out of a back of slick, grimy dollars, I'd have called you nuts! My wife is sick of hearing me talk about it already :) I've bought several MS Morgans lately, and give them a 1 minute look and then put them in a box. The lowball have brought out the micro camera!
