VF
Nasty scratches will really bring down the value on this one.

F12, not quite so badly scratched, the scratches don`t take away from the design on this one.

Just posting some better pictures. Rarer coins with noticeable dents and scratches are one of a kind, like a finger print. This coin was stolen, so may it find its way back to me or have the new owner scared to show it the light of day.

A coin collector's worst nightmare

Was this the only coin you had stolen from you? What happened?

coin 1 looks a little off to me for some reason.

rev devices really worn but fields look smooth expect for just a tiny bit of chatter.

obv has good strong details (hair, nose, eyes, ear) but they look fairly crude.

maybe just image compression issue? or ?

I sold the coin and it didn't make the delivery. Coin has a dent in front of the face and the scratches on the reverse.

I'll be in the lookout for it. I sympathize.

A colleague of mine sold a foreign obsolete banknote on ebay and it didn't arrive so we've been looking for the serial number on ebay. It will show up we imagine.

Does this happen often on ebay?

I've had good luck so far, there are ways to protect yourself but, sometimes the cost out ways the protection. I'm not overly upset. This is a large community, with eyes all over, if it shows up good, if not then I hope the person that has it is scared to show it.
