a gentelmen on craigs list, wants to sell me these coins i do not think the grade is very high. he is asking me want I want to give for them.being a novice, am asking you your advice also, wondering why the coins are stacked on each other?

All common date stuff, I'd pass. The the wheats are worth 5 cents each, I can see the dates on the lower coins, but I doubt they are worth more than 5 cents, the nickels are worth 5 cents too. I wouldn't offer him $1 for that stuff.

Does not look like it is worth anywhere near $5. I would pass.

That stuff would be a lot cheaper at a dealer than paying $5 to that guy. Just common low-grade wheats maybe 5-8 Cents each. It would be better for him to keep them than get paid $1 for it. I think you'd offend him but offering $1 and to someone who doesn't collect coins or know what they're worth he probably thinks OLD = VALUABLE. Just pass.
