Picked up this one for 42$, I think I got a pretty good deal, I love 3 cent silvers, if anybody else has pictures of theirs I would love to see them.

That's a pretty good price

I've actually been meaning to get a nice MS-62 - MS-64 1862 or 1862/1 3 cent but every time I save up enough I end up finding something else to buy that's a one-time thing and put it off to next time.

They're beautiful pieces, it's probably my favorite buy, I never realized how small they were until I saw one in person! And the design is crazy beautiful, especially on the reverse, so much detail. It's also an amazing talking point with non-collectors because of how unique it is, I highly reccomend getting one!

My top collection is a type set so I only have three silver 3-cent pieces, one for each type.
Here they are:

3-Cent-Silver

3-Cent-Silver

3-Cent-Silver

I don't care for toning so the Type 2 (1858) coin will get replaced some time in the future.

Wow, prethen ! I usually am drawn towards circulated examples (nice 1851 O) but I must say those are beauties.
