Some truly impressive Seated dimes.
It was an ad here on CCF and if you haven't visited it already, you definitely should!

That's some of the best eye candy iv ever seen, just beautiful . If I'm ending up in heaven these are the coins I'm not gona need to pay for. Do you know how coins get toned like that as oppose to being artificially toned?

I can assure you that these coins are naturally toned; the order of the colors is right. Now the "how" part is trickier. They were probably stored in a high-sulfur environment for years, such as an old paper envelope, near an old factory, or near a volcano, or any other myriad of places. That's the mind-boggling nature of these coins that make them such fascinating relics history to hold.

I am not usually a big fan of toned coins, but these are gorgeous! Someone took good care of these.

I have a PCGS competitive registry set of Liberty Seated dimes and if I took that set, sold it and tried to buy one of these I probably still could not afford it!

Awesome collection of proofs right there.

I have 7 Barber dimes and 1 Seated dime that will be in that auction. I've posted pictures of most of them here for those that may have seen them. I'm afraid I'll likely end up spending most of my proceeds on some of these Seated dimes, they're just too nice to pass up.

The 4th coin is especially beautiful, although the reverse of the second made my jaw drop.
