I will have to dig a little deeper into the history and coinage of those areas. I was using numista.com as my guidelines but they are all over the map (no pun intended) with their criteria lately (since the original site owner sort of disappeared and left a few senior helpers in charge). they took away country designations for weimar republic and the third reich but assigned country status to the french and british antarctic territories. sadly I'll probably end up with those in my collection if I want to hit 300 OFEC #288 Tuvalu 1985

Tuvalu! Nice. I'm missing a bunch of Pacific islands - so far, it's just Fiji, Samoa, and Tonga. There are some Vanuatu and Solomon Islands issues at stores near me but I haven't bothered to buy them yet. (fun fact about Tuvalu - the government's single biggest source of income comes from selling the country's .tv Internet domain name ending to foreign television companies so they can have websites like [some TV show].tv).
I can see the lack of distinction between "Weimar Republic" and "Third Reich", but putting the Second Reich in with the Third Reich as the same country is a bit perplexing.

Only 10 more to reach 300! It seems to me like that's very achievable, good luck! Like jbuck said, those are some cool additions!

This is an awesome thread! So much variety to see with these world coins. I really like the Equatorial African States coin.

my history might be off, but if I remember correctly the woman on the Martinique coin is a young Josephine, who later married Napoleon Bonaparte.
