The location looks close. The die scratches near the 1 look correct. I would like to see a closer shot of the mint mark? There can be two things that might have happened on the upper serif. Either machine damage on that area that flattened that RPM or made it look like that RPM. But on the 006 the RPM is raised in that area creating a split serif. So The jury is still out on this one so far.

I just completed an overlay with your coin to 006. Your coins mint mark is further south than 006. So it isn't that die. I don't see a match for it on coppercoins. I just check my 1959-D WRPMs from John Wexler and nothing jumps out as the die your coin came from. So you might want to keep it as a questionable one? The biggest problem I see on your images is the lack of clarity on the upper serif. I edited the image and can see a little bit more, but I can tell if it is a flattened upper serif, or a machine damaged area on the upper serif. On the machine damaged upper serif you might be able to see metal striations in the area. (The die moving leaving jagged lines) Here is an example: Note the lines in the machine doubled areas that most show on the bottom edges of the devices? The are from movement of the die leaving the mark across the devices. I was hoping to find out if your coin has this? If it does, then it is not a RPM. So I would keep it till you can get some better images to know for sure before tossing/keeping it for copper. The sad part is the condition. It is not probably going to be worth attributing as it would cost more than it would be worth. SO I would keep it until I'm sure what it is.

That is a lot better image. But still having a problem detecting if it is on split or two?

The 10:00 direction on the mint mark is what I'm interested in. Are the tops of the date digits affected in the same direction as mint mark? Also it appears the center of the mint mark has some crud in it. Can you touch up that area with a green throne or a tooth pick. There maybe something in the center that might help? Looking for either metal displacement or a punching in the center area?

Still undecided on this one. It looks familiar. I might have something like this that I've not ID' yet? It is way out there like this video: http://i1303.photobucket.com/albums...24e6e536.mp4] The video was from an email. I added the music for that way out there sound.
