I can guarantee you that the buyer will receive an 1891-s. Fortunately, the sale price did not reach the $10,000+ that a real 1891 fetches. It appears this seller doesn't realize how incredibly rare/valuable a real 1891 is worth. I did notice the reverse picture is clearly not of the same coin and is cropped completely different. His other ebay listing is a 1933 $20 Saint:

He thinks there's an 's' mintmark, clearly there is not.

This seller usually sells $2 items, I can't figure out what he's up to.

Well, without even looking at the listings, pretty obviously any 1933 Double Eagle has to be a "replica" (polite way of saying "counterfeit"), so the 1891 is likely in the same class.

Edit: Did look at the listings - whatever were these bidders thinking? Can't imagine these "coins" will turn out to have gold content to justify such pricing.

Wow, that's an EXTREME shame. The seller of the 1933 Double Eagle specified in the description that it was a copy!
It's also clear that the 1891 is a different image for the reverse than for the obverse.

Google Image Search. Wish I could take some credit, but it's so embarrassingly easy that there's no reason to bid on an auction without using it to look up the images presented.

Nice work SsuperDdave..........Now, we know he doesn't have the pictured coin, but, what's he up to? Is he going to sell a few non-existent coins and steal the money?
