Hi all,

New to the forums. I purchased this coin recently and am deciding whether to keep it or not. I'm wondering specifically about the reverse spotting/toning/whatever it may be. Has anyone seen an Indian cent that looked like this before? Looks like sort of whitish haze, but it doesn't look like damage. The rest of the coin is very original with great luster. No hairlines or anything like that. Tried to get different lighting effects and angles.

I don't see any red flags. Is anything up with the 8 in the date? looks like something coming off to the right in the middle of it. could we see a closeup of the date?

I'm going to say MS63 details. I thinking this coin has been cleaned, I don't like the area around the shield.
