How might this he accomplished? Anyone ever try such a thing? I have a (edit) hypothetical (edit) silver US high MS quarter that the obverse is terribly mottled and butt-ugly. Looks like it would dip right off. The reverse however is spectacular, with beautiful toning that I would never want to remove. Techniques? Surely I am not the first to ever consider this . . . . How does this forum not have a feature to pop up an error message when someone hits enter twice to start a new thread, saying you can't start two new threads that close together? I've never posted on a message board without that feature.

Hypothetical answer, put a drop of acid only on the one side. Could also be a die cap. Just a couple thoughts. John1

Hard to believe, but this is not my first time posting. I hit the submit button once only. I never checked the forum after posting, but did find a bunch of "removed topic" notices this morning. Thank you for whomever cleaned that up. Had I known, I still don't think I can delete an entire post . . . . . though I would have deleted the text. But I was not aware until too late. Edit. Ah! They are still there!! Over a period of five minutes or so. Edit.

Soooooo . . . . . is this my phone flipping out? Or something in the forum itself?
This next round is from a reply I made this morning. Again, only hit the submit button once!!

Found it. But it only shows if there are no replies. Edit: Clarify, it only shows on the first entry if there are no replies. Looks like individual repies can be deleted at any time but entire threads only if there are no replies. Got all of them that I could. Two surviving. So how does this happen?

If you "go back" on android, it will duplicate posts.

Did anyone ever answer his question? I can think of at least three ways to do it.
