I doubt that it is a coin, maybe a token?

It does remind me of Disney's Aladdin movie. Maybe it is a piece from a board game with a promotional tie-in to the movie.

Its an arcade token. Don't know the franchise but someone else posted one of these. I tried to do a search but realistically that post could be anywhere.

After some lengthy research on the web my conclusion (although with no concrete evidence such as a picture stating this is where it is from) is that it is a Bally's Alladin's Castle arcade token. Not the casino but the arcade manufacturer. I remember when I was a teenager in San Antonio they had one of these arcades. It was huge and we would go hang out there on the weekends mostly. Getting into trouble and such, lol. Now arcades are pretty much passed up by teens these days with the likes of Playstations and X-Boxes.

Good memory, Irish. Here's one of the old threads. We weren't too definite about what they were back then, either.

I remember, when that old thread was posted, wondering what the swirly thing on the non-castle side was supposed to be. Now I see it! It's a head wearing a turban!

That is a game token for Aladdin's Castle. It was local kids attraction before Chuck-E-Cheese. They served pizza , had arcade games and catered to kids birthday parties.

Thanks guys, I came across it at the good old waterpark accounting job and have been wondering forever. Most coins have at least some writing on them and like in the other post, I was wondering if it was a far east coin.
