Really you have to ask yourself "how much do you trust the person/shop that you are buying from?" if the answer is low then maybe this device would be handy. I wish it were more of an accessory to a smartphone, but I guess for a first gen device it does the job. Report this Post to the Staff

And has to do it fast and through packaging... the item I see as having a pretty good use.. When it comes to collectors and coins.... I think most could still get away with doing a specific gravity test and they will do fine to verify the content of the coin. But if you were doing high volume... I would pick this up sure!
