I noticed this raised blob above the N in UNUM. I was wondering if this was some type of die break. There also seems to possibly be some type of lamination error along the edge above UNUM, so maybe its related to that? Any information is welcome! And sorry about the poor quality photo! If needed, I can try to post better ones! Thanks!

Have you poked it with a stick (toothpick)? It could also be a scrape that pulled some of the metal to a pile above the N.

I actually did, and it didn't budge. So its at least not something just hanging on by a thread, or some strange gunk. It is metal. And that could very well be!
Rest in Peace

It looks like it took a hit above the N.

Possibly! I wasn't too sure because when looking at the coin in person, it doesn't seem to be much like a scrape, at least not like any of the other examples I have, but I may just be seeing too much into this? So thanks for your input, its probably right!

What is the weight? It might be something on the coin. The rim looks like it was formed correctly. a closer view of the area near the rim above the "N" would be nice. But if it is over weight it maybe something on the coin.
