Very interesting coin. Excellent, strong details - love the beard details. The toning. Slight haze on the reverse and obverse.
Best case - MS63RB. Worst case - details?
How does this look in hand? Was this a lacquered cent? I ask because material on the reverse - to the left of the right wheat ear.
Tough one to grade from a picture.

I agree. There is a funky look to the reverse. Just based on these pics I'd say MS62RD - Details questionable color? There seems to be a tiny tiny bit of Verdigris on the obverse up between the 'R' and 'U' at the rim. Got any magic potion for that?

Assuming it doesn't take a hit from Questionable Color and/or Cleaning, it looks MS63RB. It's a sweet looking early "S" mint Lincoln but something about the color looks off. Might just be a brassy colored planchet with no issues.

Dislike the weak "O". For me it's 63RB...PCGS = 64RB I figure, barring details.

A bit of an odd strike, the obverse looks fully struck and yet the reverse is weakly struck. I think the reverse will limit it to MS62RB but 63 wouldn't shock me.

Well, my pics obviously were a bit deceptive....but was wondering what the forum would go for on this one...lol. PCGS graded it AU details "smoothed" The coin obviously has a lot of mint luster, but I think the luster has been "enhanced" in some unnatural ways....hard to explain without having the coin in hand to show you....although it cartwheels nicely, it moves a bit unnaturally compared to other natural lincolns. The luster over lincolns portrait especially does not look like real luster. Some of you were on track saying that the color is off. It was pretty well done though, and still looks nice in the album at a fraction of the cost of say an MS63red....and I have a bit of a difficult time determining what amount of luster is real compared to manufactured, as the coin doctor did an excellent job with the transitions.
