From what I can tell it appears to be a VAM-2. As for the value, I wouldn't touch it in that piece of plastic.
Dollars to doughnuts it used to be in a problem slab.

The denticle alignment with the "1" looks right, but it's a less than a great photo for evaluating a coin like this. It's certainly not "uncirculated" and given that misrepresentation, I'm automatically extremely skeptical otherwise.

Those are scans, not photos, and as such present no accurate representation of the coin's surfaces. The coin is clearly circulated - the obverse speaks for itself. The discerning Morgan collector will contrast the sharp strike indicated on the reverse by the breast and largest wreath leaves, against the weakness of the talons, top edge of the wings and upper wreath leaves, and see circulation wear.
I find the dark splotches on the (viewer's) left wingtip - contrasted to the too-even finish on the rest of the coin - to be very telling. And I don't like what it's telling me.

it's obvious that he scans to cover the fact its dipped to some extent and I believe those to be carbon spots on the reverse.
I do not collect morgans but regardless, speaking of rarity and scarcity of the issue and grade, I suggest the potential buyers keep searching for a better example.

I think the coin is probably genuine but has been dipped to death over the years. It was probably a nice XF/AU coin back in the 1960's and some idiot could not resist sending it through the blue bath of death. Over the years, it just keeps getting redipped by the new owner(s) hoping for that miracle that ain't gonna happen. Would get a well-deserved "Details" grade at the main stream TPG's. Matter-of-fact, I'd bet they've seen it a few times in the last 15 to 20 years!

You have an 1893-S Morgan, and you use SCANNED images to sell it. Yep, he's covering up. If you look at his negative feedback, he responds to every one he gets. In most cases he responds like a complete jerk, as if he NEVER does anything wrong. Dealers with god complexes. His positives far outweigh his negatives, but still, his responses would cause me to steer clear of him. The reflection of his attitude speaks volumes to me. But that's just me.

Did anyone notice the seller is centsles?
That in and of itself should be warning enough to stay away.

Of course it's centsles. He's NNC, and there ain't much of a secondary market for his slabs.

He's the one who seems to always have NNC slabbed 1907 high relief double eagles too. It seems he sells one, then without missing a beat, throws another on on ebay. As if he has a box of NNC slabbed 1907 high relief double eagles waiting to be sold?

This marketer is still selling this crap because he is a volume mover and shaker on ebay. ebay lets him skate with a lot of complaints because of the volume he sells. They won't do anything about him.
