Hey, folks. I'm a bit new to coin collecting. I'm trying to collect Morgan dollars and Indian Head pennies. I have a good start. I need to find a way to trade some coins, otherwise this hobby is just a matter of buying my way to a collection. I can't trade on this site, because of the rules to post 50 then 100, etc, before you can engage in some good trading.

So, is anyone aware of some other forums where I would have an opportunity to trade a few coins, where the rules of tenure and activity are not a requirement?

Thanks,

Art

I actually work in Lake Wales. Not sure if you're interested but maybe we could have lunch one day and talk coins?

Our coin club in Sebring meets the 3rd Wed of each month at the Sebring Chamber of Commerce. You should come down and check it out. Might be a good way to get some coins you are looking for.

I live in Lakeland. Although the drive would only be a bit over an hour, I'm on the hunt for a club a bit closer. If I don't find one, I'll definitely jump on this. Thanks for the invite!!

The membership and activity requirements are as much for your peace of mind as ours. Would you rather trade with people you have "grown" to trust or anonymous people you just "met" in a forum you joined yesterday.

ebay, craigslist, proxibid, great collections, to buy and sell, I have found very few people willing to make anything more than one sided trades. Try a local coin club.
