A lot of coins were hammered with a die bigger than the mint plate. So it is sometimes very difficult to identify. The date is fixed : AH978 (1571AD) Jadeja dynasty Nawanagar princely state Jam Shri Satalji 1569-1593 Under the rule of Muzaffar shah III from Gujarat Note that some coins were hammered with a die bigger than the flan and that some dies were used for different coins and materials.
