Good morning everyone.
I need some help identifying this silver coin.
I was told it was a 1753 Spanish 2 reales but I have been collecting since I was 12, now 60 and I cant find out what it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
it weighs 3.4 grams
20 mm wide
and has a reeded edge

Portugal 2.50 escudos. Not sure about date since it is so worn.

But one thing for sure, the date's far from 1753.
These were minted 1932-1951.
Also, it's .650 silver.

The weight of 3.4 grams will make it the copper nickel version.

The date is just below the ship and seems to be 1932?
0.650 silver
3,5 grams 20.41mm (your coin is well worn, thus the weight is less)

I looked for that particular type with the ship and shield
and it is definitely from the 1950 and silver.

Are you sure of the 1950?
I seem to see the 19 and then something with a round top.
That can only be a 3
Or am I wrong?
Can you post a bigger picture of the date?
