Die cracks are somewhat common in letters of the legend, and sometimes linking the reverse and obverse beads, in this series. But, this is a first for me... A crack running from the centre devices, through the fields, the legend, a denticle and to the rim. I wonder how many more coins this reverse die struck?

Shame the coin has had such a hard life... would love to find another one, mint state.

That's pretty neat, I'll have to search the nickel dollar bins the dealers have and see if I can find one, do you have other years with less significant cracks?

Nice!
A few more strikes and that crack will meet up with another.
