What's The Grade Of This German Thaler?

epop Valued Member Greece 425 Posts	Posted 07/06/2014 10:11 am very nice Victory Sachsen thaler .I would say an ms66 coin It is a commemorative coin from the Francoprussian war of 1871.Other states which issue victory thalers for this particular war Prussia,Bavaria and Bremen. Harpagon Coins New Member Italy 26 Posts	Posted 07/07/2014 02:20 am Hi gents, Thanks for your input. Most of you were close. It was actually graded as a 64. I was a little disappointed. I expected a 65 or even 66 according to other coins I have and what I've seen. Perhaps the patina - the contrast between the obverse and reverse is a little much - and that knocked it down a little.
