Looking this up from prior post, 2013, I wasn't sure what the outcome was...RPM, Machine Doubling?...it was certainly a heated discussion with some interesting comments. Anyway, I have an example I'd wonder if similar or not to that post (2013)

The proof coins are struck more than once. Looks like it is suffering from split plating in areas probably because of the second strike. So I would call this as machine damage. They only use the dies to strike 3000 coins for the proof sets, so I'm not thinking Die Deterioration on the "6". More of a flat field issue during the strike
