1795 Large Cent, Authentic?

Here is a 1795 LC I just picked up. It is 9.5 grams. 28.5 mm's and passes the ring test. It is in rough shape for sure. I think it is an S-78. I believe it is real but would like some CCF opinions:)

I can't help with the Sheldon number as I'm at the beach without my book - very bad planning on my part.

Looks good to me too, and an S-78.
It does seem a little lite weight at 9,5 g, given the nominal was 10,89.
This may be due to the corrosion, though.
