I was looking for more information about the contemporary counterfeit coins which I have from the UK when I bumped on this website. With all USA contemporary counterfeits for sale.

I though would be interesting to post in this forum. So hereby the website. Also nice information given about the coins:

A great resource. Thanks for sharing.

I have 2 contemporary counterfeit 1877 Seated half dollars myself. 1 is a pot metal, the other is brass with the silvering completely worn off.

I've browsed that section of the site a few times but haven't pulled the trigger in buying a contemporary counterfeit.

One of these days, I'll acquire one or two for my collection. I think they'd be a neat addition.

I got an 1878 seated half in a lot a couple years ago that's cast in some sort of white metal.
