Im not sure if I laid down my requirements for my IHC set which I am currently working on. But basically, I am looking for VF30+ for the 1860s and 1870s, XF+ for the 1880s, and AU+ or noticeable cartwheel luster for all coins 1890 and above. All problem free, or mostly problem free. I am selling a bunch on ebay right now that don't quite meet these requirements.

I just picked up this 1869, which I think is quite nice.It looks solid XF to me, but I will let the forum decide. Grade?

EF-40 for grade, but are you 100% sure this one is genuine? Something doesn't look right about this one, mostly the denticles, shield, and ONE CENT lettering.

I will go with EF-40 maybe 45. The coin appears to be genuine. The shallow N's reverse was used on all Indian cents before 1870, on some from 1870-72, and again in 1877. One thing that makes wonder a bit are a couple of brighter patches by the lower feathers and ICA. It might suggest that something has been removed from the surface.

XF40. The chin hits probably would not cause a details grade however it does affect eye appeal as it is in a key area. This could affect the value a little
