Have not done much with this set in a while. Thought this fit well.
Grade opinions? Variety?

That is a tough question.

First off does look like a nice coin, good eye appeal.

I have trouble grading from pictures.

If I had to guess it is either a high AU or a MS-64 BN

I am thinking the lines on the obverse are die cracks.

AU55 assuming there are as few marks as there appear to be. Misses a 58 to my eye based on soft strike or LDS and no luster. Liberty isn't very bold however the headband is complete. Lack of luster could push the coin to a 53.

Very nice coin with great eye appeal!

Nice coin.. your reverse picture could be bigger so we can see the Shield closer and, a bit more light.

But.. looks MS-62/3 to me.

Is that a hair across the face or a scratch ? I bet you used the optimizer to downsize your pics. You have to close it after each pic and then use it again. The pics will get smaller and smaller if you don't.

Unfortunately a scratch....barely noticeable in hand,in fact, did not notice it until photographed.
