I just find this hilarious.

"Green Coins LLC .... Help us in our coin recycling program and keep valuable and reusable coins out of landfills. We pledge that all of our coins are pre-owned and recycled back into service for you, eliminating the carbon footprint that would be damaging the environment if we were to manufacture new coins. Thank you for your help in keeping our planet green!"

So if I buy a Buffalo nickel from them, I save the environment since the gov doesn't have to manufacture a brand new Buffalo nickel?

I'm hoping it is tongue in cheek, otherwise it's more sad than funny.

Coin collecting is itself causing the mint to create more coins because we are keeping genuine currency from circulation.

I only buy vegan coins because, well, I`m vegan

I have a friend who only likes gluten free coins (paper money is a problem).
