I've voted! Great idea for a poll. Will have to do something similar with UK coins!

I voted - and... You'll notice there is still no vote for my favorite coin on the list. I love my Two Cent Pieces, but they certainly aren't the best looking coin on the list by a long shot.

I had to vote for the St. Gaudens $20, but I would have picked the Liberty Cap Large Cent if it was on the list. The Saint just has it all going for it IMO, both obverse and reverse are equally beautiful, the Walking Liberty half is a close second for me. Many coins (my favorite - 1794 Large Cent) are beautiful but only on a single side.

Quote: I'm slowly building my numismatic library--56 works and counting I'm sincerely jealous. I voted for the Walking Liberty half since it's a coin I actually collect, but the $20 St Gaudens is right there.

A little love for the most American coin out there? I mean the buffalo has the a real American on it, plus a really awesome looking american animal. What more could you want!?

Quote: I'm sincerely jealous. Shermae, I started my library in 2008 with the purchase of 9 books. I have sporadically added books since then. On January 1, 2014 I had 45 works. Since then I have added 11 books. I am gradually adding them as I can afford to. I forgot to mention I chose the $10 Indian as my favorite.
