Owassokie Pillar of the Community United States 622 Posts	Posted 07/27/2014 4:11 pm My wife and I went on vacation last weekend. We stayed at a casino that still has some coin operated machines. I purchased some halves from the "change window". They were in S&S wrappers. The first $80 produced a 69 and 64 from the same roll. I grabbed another $100 as we were headed to the room. They produced two more 64's...in the same roll. I was excited to spend some significant time roll searching the next day but they were out of the S&S rolls and only had rolls wrapped 'in house'. No luck the rest of the weekend. Unfortunately that includes the gambling too. On a side note, I found silver last time I was at the casino too. I would just put $40 or $60 in the machine and hit "cash out". Memory isn't working too well but I think I found 3 or 4 40%ers in the machines. OO Report this Post to the Staff

What an excellent idea and the timing is perfect - we are starting our vacation today and staying at a casino. Even if they don't have any coin operated machines, this casino still pays 3:2 on blackjack, so they should have a good supply of halves. I'll have to try buying some halves from the cage. They've caused me to cuss in the middle of the night...LOL. I think my wife was worried this would cause me to get back in to roll hunting.
