Hey everyone just have a quick question regarding What NGC will grade. I am thinking about submitting a group of coins to get graded (protection for me is absolutely critical and getting professional opinions on them.) My question is wether NGC grades and slabs Macedonian Bronze coins from Phillip II, Alexander III and Kassander (I have a tetradrachm I am sending in plus four possible bronzes pending on this question.)

Thanks everyone for your help it is greatly appreciated.

According to NGC's website, they will grade all of the coins you mentioned.

You are welcome.

A quick search on ebay for "Macedonian NGC" and "Kassander NGC" yields a few listings of NGC slabbed coins

Thanks mate I searched a bit previously but I couldn't find one with a bronze coin in it but I tried your suggestion and there were a number of the successors bronzes in NGC holders some on ebay. Greatly appreciate your help.

It's too bad you feel the need to slab Macedonian AE. Most serious ancient coin collectors don't want their coins slabbed. I bought a slabbed coin on ebay recently because it was on my want list and priced well for a raw coin. I cracked it out. I think there is a good chance the slab *lowered* the price because collectors who really know their stuff don't want slabs.

I can see where you are coming from mate tho I have no plans to ever sell the collection and would prefer greater protection + it will help with storing them.
