I found a 1993 penny with a large gap in between the a and m in America. But it doesn't have the right FG location can some one tell me if it is a true Wide AM variety.
Doug is correct about the location of the "M". If it is a Wide AM then the "M" would be centered. On your coin the "M" is to the left. Normal Close AM for this year. The space can vary between the "A & M" because of die wear, but the centering is the difference between the two types of "AM"s.
