Anyone know of the value of this error note? Picked this one up as it came out of an ATM back in 1990...it was new and I put it in a book for safe keeping. Completely forgot I had it.

I'm guessing it could be worth $50 to $100, checking ebay sold results might give you a better idea of its value.

Or hopefully someone more experienced with paper money errors will weigh in.

I don't have much experience with these at all. I saw your post yesterday and I thought I had a site on my Favorites list that would have some information....but I can't find it.

I did find kyzivacurrency.com which has a whole page of error notes for sale. The closest example is a 1957 $1 which sold for $30.

Your note is in far better shape with a much more interesting overprint, but it is not as old.

Nice error! Partial offset errors aren't quite as desirable as full offset transfers, but your note does appear to be crisp and in great condition. A partial transfer that has been circulated isn't worth a whole lot, so with your note being UNC and partial, I would value it somewhere around $60-$80 range.

Thanks for the replies! I'll check back for more input as it comes. 60-80$$ is fantastic. Lucky find.
