Coop helped me with several 1944's and you can find some nice discussion on this forum. Just search 1944 if this link doesn't work. I am still a novice at this site but I search it often to avoid repeating discussions. Especially DDO's. https://goccf.com/t/175855

The circulation wear makes it hard to say what is going on with your coin. The rounding/flattening of the devices can make a normal coin look like something. But the hub doubling on the 9 is not present on your coins. Note the circulated example on the lower left side of the image.

Hey guys I'm just wondering I'm trying to fill up my folders and am unsure how to tell the difference between all the 1982s I'm just wondering if there is an easy way to tell orwhat I should do. Thanks and happy hunting

Here are the types for this year: weight and large and small dates are what to check for.

Coop, what did you think of the eyelid in the first coin?

Hard to tell with the circulation on the coin as to what is going on with it? What are you seeing that I'm missing?

There are two 1944 S coins in this thread, the top coin's eyelid appears to have an extra eyelid and split between the two. Scroll to the second coin (last pic) and the extra lid is absent. In fact there is space above the eyelid (coin 2) that is filled in the first coin. Tell me if you see it. Thx coop.
