inherited / grandpa safe is often a good hint of something fishy ... Even more when the guy says he know nothing but gives a proper / detailed attribution with keywords.
In cases like this it's always interesting to study the bid history. Turns out that even obviously seasoned numismatic bidders (with hundreds and thousands of feedback!) eagerly swallow stuff like this hook, line & sinker!
I understand that this is a little too late........ But I bought one just like this one about 13 years ago! I got mine as a copy "Study Coin" in a set of two. Very nicely made and has fooled a copy of coin shop owners in my area. I love the fakes!
