I'm really running with the 1954-S cents now, but it seems to me as if the mint mark on this one is incredibly high, up into the date and touching the "5".... anything special?

Thanks,

Rick

While sorting thru a LOT of wheats, and putting them in decades/rolls, I ran across one of the 1954-s cents, and I was surprised at how close it is to the 5. After looking at the site photos, I found it was "normal".

Me too. I once noticed the mint marks were all over the place on the older Licolns. Contacted Chuck on coppercoins and was also informed normal. Here I thought I found the person at the Mint that drank the same Marini's as I did.
