Sorry, I had a lot of trouble capturing the luster. Do you think this one could be the college ruled variety?

52Raymo, I believe you have misattributed this variety. Below is an image of a genuine Comb Over, also known as the Donald Trump variety:

Franklin-Half-Details?
Notice the receding hairline. Often mistaken for die polishing, those things on Franklin's head are actually strands of hair in his attempt at a comb over. Franklin's wide eyed expression is due to the fact that he is hoping no one will notice.

Examples of this variety are typically quite lustrous (such as this example, graded SGS MS-71 and 1/2) because the sunlight is reflecting off his shiny "dome". As you can see, this one is dated 1962. Most Franklin halves started to bald late in Mint production.

I'll be here all night, folks. Tip ya waitresses.

To really be worth some big bucks, use construction paper for "toned" coins

Or I could dump paint on the sketch for AT, and sell it on ebay for double its book value!
