This is one of the keepers from a recent purchase. I am looking for some input as to grade. I personally feel it has a shot at 66.

Too much chatter on Liberty's face for an MS-66. MS-65.
Rest in Peace

I'm in at 65+ minimum with a decent shot at 66 on a good day. So what is the plan? NGC graded in the ogp?

It's a beautiful coin with a shot at 66 if the luster is full. There a couple minor issues that will likely hold it to 65 though.

Yes Dave, the lot will go to NGC along with a couple Redfields I've been holding onto for a while, and that toned GSA I posted a couple weeks back.

BH, I think the primary issue holding it back from 66, if anything, will be the luster. There are also some minor issues on the reverse that could hold it away from 66. Hence, my grade is 65+, with an outside shot at 66 if the grader gets it Friday, after a free company-provided lunch, haha.

65 on a good day and if the stars are all lined up; other-wise 64. No chance at 66 unless your have a big auction house do the submission for you.

Too many marks/blemishes for any where close to an MS68 coin. It is a nice coin but I am in agreement with MS65.

with MS65+ and a shot MS66! Don't often see these CC dollars that have not been slabbed already, especially this nice looking, with a super clean obverse!
