A co worker is moving and said something about needing to move out about 170$ in pennies and was going to take it to a coinstar, but I told him he would have to pay a fee and if he was willing to lose money ill give him a $150 for them. Just picked them up today.

But it looks like good work to have! Lots of potential for varieties in there with many high grade coins. I imagine it took some time to accumulate.

A little update, got about 3/4 of the way down in the first bucket, other than pulling out the copper coinage and some dimes and nickels, I also have 7 Wheaties, 3 King George,and a 1980 penny with a Alabama state counter-stamp... more updates will come.

After many busy days with other priorities I finally got the buckets searched...These are the finds, 32 Wheaties in all dates are 34,36,44,45x3,46x3,48,50,52x4,53x2,56x5,57x4,58x4 and one unknown its in bad shape. also 4 King George Canadian pennies 1942 x 3 and a 1945, A (German?) 2 Pfennig coin from 1959, also have a 1993 Lincoln with a Cud? and a 1990 Lincoln with a State of Alabama counter-stamp. Pics are coming up.

The 2 Pfennig I fond was 1978. Good to see there are older ones still floating around, Might be able to find another one sometime then.
So have you counted them yet to see how much it was? Like was it even close to the $150 you gave for it?
