hi all, figured this would be a good question to ask all who know more about canadian coins then me. so any way while going through a box we came across this centennial set. does anyone know about these ? are they just clad in a group like the USA proof sets? the quarter and dime look tarnished so they "might" have some silver in them. any ways here is some pictures of the set.

The dime and quarter are 50% or 80% silver (Roughly half of each were made. No easy way to tell them apart.) The nickel is nickel and the penny is copper. No clue if these are business or proof strikes though.

There are no 1967 proof strikes.
Bullion dealers here split the difference and buy 1967 quarters and dimes as 65% silver.
There are no 1967 proof strikes. There are business,PL, and specimen strikes.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

It's an aftermarket set so probably circulation finish. Check for die rotations and doubling.

Like it has already been said this in an after market set, also not a complete set, there is also a 50 cent piece (wolf), goose dollar and a N.C.L.T. gold piece.

Interesting side note, the rock dove penny is the only Canadian one cent piece to not feature a maple leaf and that maple leaf symbol of 11 triangles, 10 is for the provinces and 1 for the territories. That symbol is also on the one dollar cenetenial bill.

It's one of my favorite year sets, including all the US or Canadian.
