Based on the serial number, should I keep or spend this $20 bill? Iv'e been looking through my bills lately and this is the first one that has really caught my eye based on its number pattern. Thanks for the input!

It's a two digit radar, and a repeater. I'd keep it.

Thanks for the info guys! The bill itself is in circulated condition from 2012 and there is some minor wear and tear noticeable on the bill. However I still plan on putting this one straight into my bill collection, it's just too cool to let go!

Definitely a keeper. 2 digit Radar + rotator (reads the same upside down)

Unfortunately they don't consider notes with the numeral 1 a swims note....
SWIMS or rotators will only work with serial numbers that consist of 6's, 8's, 9's and 0's ...
To the OP... I would keep it! It's a two digit RADAR, 3 digit repeater... very nice note.. even though it's not in great shape... it will make for an interesting conversational piece to your collection...
Congrats on the find!

Hey everyone, so iv'e been checking my bills once again and I came across this $20 bill that I thought was pretty interesting. There's three things about the bill that caught my eye and I was wondering if any of you could tell me if these three things influence its overall value. #1: The serial number. I notice it has two 00s, 55s and 77s. #2: The cut on the top right of the front of the bill. Although this is a circulated bill, it doesn't seem like it was cut on purpose, it looks like a smooth transition from the rest of the bill and it does not have any jagged edges (from what a scissor would possibly make) #3: The ink on the hologram leaf. It seems like there is a lot more ink than usual on this part of the bill. I compared it with other $20 bills and they didn't have as much ink in this area. I am not very educated in the area of bill collecting, I'm more of a silver coin collector myself but any help would be greatly appreciated in determining the value in this bill, thanks a lot! :)

Once again I've got a new bill. I only kept it for the serial # this time. Keeper or spender?

Spender. Nothing real special about the serial #.
