I'm hoping to keep the CCF Tradition going for our newer members and making a new "days of" thread.
*Bear with me here, this is my first time making this thread

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is the first Canadian Type Thread for Classic Coinage so this should be (Act I).

So I'm officially declaring the "22 Days of Classic Canadian Coinage! (Act I)"

Rules are the same as always, we will post our coins (Or pretty much any coin that fits as long as you have permission to use the image(s).) as per the schedule listed below. A single user may post multiple coins as long as they fit the criteria.

The Schedule is as follows:

Cents:
15th August - Victoria - Young Head (Pre-Confederation) - 1858-1859
16th August - Victoria - Mature Head - 1876-1901
17th August - Edward VII - 1902-1910
18th August - George V - 1911-1920 (Large Cent)
19th August - George V - 1920-1936 (Small Cent)

5 Cents:
20th August: Victoria - 1858-1901
21st August: Edward VII - 1902-1910
22nd August: George V - 1911-1921 (Silver)
23rd August: George V - 1922-1936 (Nickel)

10 Cents:
24th August: Victoria - 1858-1901
25th August: Edward VII - 1902-1910
26th August: George V - 1911-1936

20 Cents:
27th August: Victoria - 1858

25 Cents:
28th August: Victoria - 1870-1901
29th August: Edward VII - 1902-1910
30th August: George V - 1911-1936

50 Cents:
31st August: Victoria - 1870-1901
1st September: Edward VII - 1902-1910
2nd September: George V - 1911-1936

One Dollar:
3rd September: George V - 1935-1936 (Unless you happen to own a 1911 Dollar )

Gold:
4th September: Post your Gold! (Sovereigns, $5, $10)

Provinces:
5th September: Post your Canadian Provinces! (Newfoundland, New Brunswick, PEI & Nova Scotia)

I want to see everyone participating. Don't be shy!

*I hope moe gives me permission to do this

August 19th and September 5th I will try to post (not great with cameras).

Do they have to be a coin? On the 5th I would like to post a pic of my 1843 frigate penny token if you decide to allow it.

Yeah, I will change September 5th to Provinces/Other. So post your Breton Tokens, bank tokens and pretty much any other Canadian Classic Coinage.

I only have George V small cents from this list, but unfortunately I'll be very busy packing then being on a very long plane ride on that day. I'll be quite busy too on the couple of days before and after.

It doesn't feel wrong that I find this exciting. Does that officially make me a collector?

Hey Lunch Money, before you read a thread and have the choice to post a "Quick Reply" you are out in the sub forum thread list, you following? When you are out there their is a little word document icon that you can click on to write a reply but it has a bunch of bells and whistles. If you click on the camera icon you can upload a picture you have saved on your desk top. I hope that makes sense.

Also only two more days! I hope someone has a nice toned A.U. Plus 20 cent piece to share!
