Been looking at the coin dealers newsletter (CDN), greysheet.

It shows some of the early silver eagles ( ASE). Most people who buy ASE's
know that the 1996 sells higher, $65 greysheet.

I am curious if other places are charging more for some of the other dates.
Here are some of the greysheet prices
1986 $40.00
1990 $32.00
1994 $42.00
1999 $32.00

Edit ... The 1996 grey sheets at $70.00. I often see LCS selling them for that ... And pay more than bullion for them

Are you talking about prices for bullion, uncirculated, proof, slabbed, or raw?

Bullion .... Not proof

The years I posted ... Only bullion or proofs were made.

Edit - raw bullion

Most LCS' try to find any reason for getting a few more dollars for their coins (who can blame them),

The '86 is first in the series, the old coin collecting adage of " always collect the bookends" make this date desirable. The nineties were very low mintage years. People also seem to be willing to pay more for a coin only they and 4 million of their dearest friend have, but nobody wants the Girl Scout Comm, that ended with a mintage of under 40,000.

Go figure
