1982 Dime DD? - Coin Community Forum

It has, however, taken quite a hit right on the MM. I think most of what we see there now is a result of that hit. Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 08/17/2014 11:06 am It is not a RPM. Just Machine damage. On the 1982 mint marks, they tend to look like that. Check out the cents and you will see what I'm talking about. I think the mint mark punch was needing replaced because of punch damage I see on many dies that year. (IE: Note the centers of the mint marks.) Report this Post to the Staff
