I need your guys help. This Morgan has no Mark stamp which would make it from Philadelphia. From what I was told there are rumors that 11,000 business strike 1895 Morgan's were minted but never put into circulation. Does anyone know if this is true? Could this be an 1895o that has been circulated?

Just looks like in addition to heavy wear someone did just scratch the mint mark off the coin. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in.

Is it still rare with any mintmark?

Better pictures would help, but I think I can see an "O" beneath the knot in the wreath on the reverse. As I recall, it was recently conclusively proven that the 1895 Morgan dollar was a proof-only issue, despite the supposed 11,000 circulation strikes. Circulated/impaired 1985 Morgan dollars do exist, but no verified circulation strikes.

Looks to me like someone scratched of an O (probably). In doing so that they took a great looking rare coin and rendered it worthless. So sad :(

IMHO, this coin is certainly not worthless, as stated. I do believe that an O mintmark was removed. Even though it's an altered coin, it's still a silver dollar. All dollars dated 1895 carry a premium over common years. If one is collecting a simple year set of dollars, the 1895 is the most costly year to acquire. Then too, like other altered coins, this one has something of a story to tell collectors. IMHO, it's worth maybe $75 or thereabouts.

The rumored number was 12,000 business strikes. There was indeed a written account of 12,000 1895 business strikes , but later research by Henry Hettger revealed that the entry was an accounting-entry error. The 12,000 Morgans were of an earlier date. This is from the Q. David Bowers book on Morgan dollars.

Your coin has an "O" or "S" mint mark that has been crudely removed.

Any TPG grading service you send the coin to will tell you that.

I see what appears to be an O mintmark.
