Hey guys ,I found this 1989 LMC in a roll of cents there is strong doubling in God We Trust and in liberty. Not sure if this is a dd year so please help thanks to all for the replies

What you are seeing is Die Deterioration.

BUT, I have stored a couple away to have but they are BU and NO signs of plating problems or gas/bubbles/ect..

Not worth anything except to me. After all, this hobby is about collecting what you like!

I completely agree with this as well. I collect extreme machine doubled coins. To most numismatist they are worthless, to me the have an undescribable appeal. I also like collecting naturally toned Lincoln cents, in fact I have been working on a 1959-2008 set for about 3 years now.

Thanks guys its all in what you like I have a jar full of coins that's worthless to most but a few are priceless to me lol if that makes sense
