This is one of the coins I picked out of a junk bin at the PNG/ANA Tradeshow, which preceded the World's Fair of Money.

The junk bin belonged to Fred Weinberg, one of the authors of '100 Greatest US Error Coins'. I didn't know that at the time but I went back later and got my copy of the book autographed and bought a whole lot more --mostly because my husband kept saying, "You should get one of those, and one of those ..."

So here's one of the first ones I got -- when I was still being frugal.

Doubled struck with indent. The coin did not leave the chamber before the next strike.

I agree. It looks like the reverse was slightly overlapping another planchet when the hammer hit..IMO
