If it was X-Men 1, yes. I'm not a DC fan.

If I had the kind of money that I could sell off 2 million dollars worth of coins then I wouldn't need to sell off coins to buy it. As is my collection completely sold wouldn't even be a down payment on that comic.

Even if I did have two million to spare, I can think of more than one coin I would rather have than a comic book. Just saying.

For me, it's not a matter of whether or not I'm into the business. For me, whatever that's got this type of astronomical price, it's really not worth having (for me this also goes for very rare coins). I becomes a matter of perfecting one's collection of something to the extreme instead of simply collecting as a hobby/art.

Nope. Price is out of my league. I like the issue but feel it is way over priced. Let someone else have it.

No thanks for me. JBuck, I'm sure you meant to say that only your wife and firstborn would bring that kind of money, but you couldn't part with them, right?

I think if I had 2+ million stacked away in my coin collection, I probably would NOT have to sell my coins to bid on that comic.

I was so shocked to see the price and the number of bidders, that I accidently hit the 'PLACE BID' button, and my heart skipped a beat. Too many eggs to put into one basket, assuming I had the eggs in the first place Bidding started at .99 and first bid was a million. You'd think the bid increments would be larger than $100 at the current 2 mil level. TRULY AMAZING

Place 2M in Gold Eagles next to that comic book & ask me which I would prefer.

Some people are very passionate about their hobby...someone with too much money on their hands for a comic book...I am sure that some people say the same about coin collecting too.

So now picture the winner getting that comic and at home one of his kids opens it and starts scribbling in it with INK. Or it comes in the mail and the mailman shoves it into a mail box that is to small. Or it comes UPS and the UPS driver drops it in a puddle on the way to his house. Or it turns out to be a Chinese fake.

Well, I'm interested in comic books, just not interested in collecting them No for me...
