Hello. I'm a Spanish coins collector. Next December I'll be in New York and I want to know where I can buy modern USA coins. I'm not looking for bullion coins, I want only modern coins.I would appreciate your collaboration.

Thank you

Somebody else was asking about this just recently, I have nothing to offer - in my trip last November, I found most shops had closed up and the few that seemed to remain didn't have Saturday hours.

If you want modern stuff just take some paper cash into a bank or credit union when they aren't too busy and ask to change it for assorted coins in rolls. Banks will have 1, 5, 10, 25 and 100 cent coins and sometimes 50c ones. Find some good examples out of the coin rolls, and spend the leftovers on coffee before you head home. Franklin halves, silver coins and Ikes are about the only moderns you'd go to a shop for.

Was there something more specific you were after?
