I sometimes trace the feedback left by people who end up with counterfeits and they are almost always oblivious, saying something like "nice coin". I pretty much only collect Indian cents on ebay, and I probably see a counterfeit almost once per day. And often it is a couple hundred plus coin. Can only imagine the numbers across all coin types.
